Our method

What a source-backed claim means

We make the claim narrow enough that you can test it on the linked official page.

1. Go to the primary page

Room/bath facts come from the hotel’s own linked pages. Day-trip descriptions point to the exact provider products. The current editorial review date is 17 September 2026.

2. Separate different promises

“Every room,” “selected category,” “hot spring,” “private source,” and “free-flowing” are different claims. A private guide is not a private bath.

3. State the gap

If a property does not state its guest-room flow method or the product does not guarantee bath entry, we say so. A photo is never proof of the water source or the room category.

4. Recheck the live offer

We do not mirror inventory, rates or cancellation terms. Confirm the exact date and room or product on the provider site before paying.

Our limits

This is desk research, not firsthand inspection of every hotel or tour. Source pages can change between reviews; we will correct or remove outdated claims when found. Photography is credited as location imagery, never room evidence.

Commercial links

Hotel links currently go to the official property pages. A tour link becomes an affiliate link only if an issued partner URL is active; that link is labeled. Commission does not change whether a bath claim is reported as known or unstated.
